ZNHS History

Zumarraga National High School started as an Integrated School wayback 2002. That time, Zumarraga Integrated School was the only complete public secondary school in town and the biggest considering of its student populace among other secondary schools in the whole municipality of Zumarraga. Being a school that is temporarily situated and occupying the mother school Zumarraga Central Elementary School, it was a profound dream of every person that is part of ZIS to nationalize the institution and enjoy the vicinity that we can call our own. And that dream did not seem to be impossible when ZIS became a national school in 2004. However, the community of ZIS High School department was not aware about this matter. Until 2012, when the school principal Mr. Edwin Rodulfa found out that ZIS is already nationalized for almost 8 years then. And finally, Zumarraga Integrated School was converted to Zumarraga National High School.
